Autobahn

Do you remember your first visit to an airport? If you do, I am sure you would have been super excited, while waiting for your language to arrive on the conveyor belt. The wait and frenzy to pick your language. I could feel the same excitement to see the food rolling on a conveyor belt from table to table. And to double the excitement you can pick any dishes that are being rotating on a belt. You can get you order even before placing any order at this place with a zero-waiting time. Yes, this place Autobahn the very first time in Pune, serves food on a conveyor belt.

There are two ways you can chose the menu. One, you can choose and pick any dish that are being rotated on the conveyor belt without having to wait. The dishes keep coming out fresh and hot from the kitchen and you can pick any dish you want.

Second, you can choose and order from the menu. The process of ordering has also kept simple using a tablet placed at each table. You just need to enter your name and menu displays on the screen. Choose the dishes, add in the cart and place the order. The order once prepared arrives on the table through conveyor belt. Doesn’t is sound exciting?

The owner, after travelling to many places abroad and having successfully installed these conveyor belt concept, finally decided to get this back in India. Hence, came this place with unique idea of serving dishes and experiencing something different unlike usual.

The décor has been kept simple yet comfortable. The waiters are helpful and greet you with a smile. The food is good, but the portion sizes are on smaller side. The food ordered from the Ala Carte menu was better than the one picked instantly from the conveyor belt.

Anaar Mojito – Mojito is what I love most. The anaar flavor with anaar seeds in it gave a nice bite while drinking. The sweetness was balanced.

Watermelon Basil – Loved the blend of watermelon with basil. Consistency was perfect with kick of basil.

Kiwi Mango Collin – This was the star drink. The freshness of mango with the tangy flavor of kiwi was very well blended. The sweet was balanced to give it a perfect taste.

Peru Pyala – My all-time favorite peru pyala was presented in a wine glass. The flavor of peru with the kick of red chilli was flawless. Loved it.

Mango Lassi – Balanced sweetness with perfect consistency. The thick shake like consistency with dry fruits garnished over it. #Recommended
