Hippie at Heart

A huge, beautifully decorated place, with quirky walls, greenery all over, colorful seating arrangements, ‘Hippie at Heart’ gets you energized as you enter. The indoor section has beautifully decorated walls with paintings and quirky quotes whereas outdoor setup is cool with greenery and lightings on the walls.

This place lives by its name ‘Hippie at Heart’ and has so much to offer for everyone. All age groups will surely have a good time here. Positive vibes, peaceful, calm yet this place is happening. You can find it cozy for a date when visiting with partner, ideal for family time and happening with friends. The menu has a huge continental variety with best of Italian food. Drinks are flawless. The prices are nominal, which would not hurt your pocket a lot.

Finally, I found an ideal place to have an amazing time with my partner, family and friends. The outer area gets hippie in the evening with all the lightings on whereas indoor area is perfect for day time to make you feel comfortable. The music adds on to the overall mood. Good news for all beer lovers, they have their own brewery.

We started off with the mocktails

Orange Based Mojito – Refreshing, balanced and perfectly blended mojito made it a good start. A perfect drink to beat the heat.

Guava Mocktail – My personal favorite. I got this drink on a special request. The kick of red chilli with the mix of salt and sweetness of guava made it a perfect drink. Loved it.

After a refreshing start we had starters –

Feta Spinach Vol-vo-vent – Bite sized French puff pastry filled with feta cheese and spinach was light, fluffy and creamy. Vol-Vo-Vent is a French word meaning ‘Windblown’, as its super light and fluffy it is named so. Something different than usual dish to start with. Loved it.

Goat Cheese & Fig Crostini – Perfectly toasted crostini topped with goat cheese and figs. Since I am not a huge fan of sweetness in my food hence this dish didn’t impress me much. For anyone who likes fresh figs might prefer this dish.

Veg Empanadas – Fried Spanish party filled with spinach, cheese, paneer and corn. The creamy stuffing in crisp fried pastry was good to go along with sauce served along with it.

Mains –

Veg Exotica Pizza – Perfectly baked thin crust pizza loaded with olives, onions, corn, jalapenos and bell peppers with good amount of cheese. The pizza sauce was tangy and delicious which uplifted the overall taste. Loved it.

Cannelloni alla Fiorentina – Perfectly baked pasta stuffed with spinach and mushrooms topped with tomato sauce and cheese. The creaminess of stuffing and tanginess of sauce made it super delicious. Combination made in heaven. I absolutely loved it. #MustHave

Veg Stroganoff – Sour cream based Russian dish which is typically prepared with beef but I being a vegetarian tried the Veg version. Creamy sour sauce with mushrooms, served along with rice. Not for my taste buds but people who prefer red wine dishes might like it.

The most awaited course of all times Desserts –

The only dessert available during our visit was Chocolate Mousse.
The consistency of mousse was harder than expected, and bit sweeter for my liking. Dessert was bit a disappointment, but the ambiance and Italian food was sure enough to make up for it.
