Heat oil is a pressure cooker. Splutter cumin seeds.
Add bay leaf, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon and cardamom. Give everything a good mix.
Next add sliced onions and cook until slightly golden brown.
Now add finely chopped onions and cook for 2 mins.
Also add ginger garlic paste and give it a nice mix.
Add in spices like turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, garam masala powder and salt. Give everything a good mix.
Next add tomato puree. Mix well and cook until nicely done.
Add in fresh cream and stir in well.
Now add peas and paneer strain water from paneer).
Finally add soaked rice (strain water from rice) and mix gently.
Add water and mix in gently.
Pressure cook for 1 whistle on high flame and 1 whistle on low flame.
Open the cooker only when steam is released by itself.
Serve hot.
