Guvar Dhokli Nu Shaak

Guvar Dhokli Nu Shaak

Guvar Dhokli Nu Shaak with step-by-step photo and video recipe.

We are a family of people from different regions and culture. My grandmother (in-law) has an influence from Gujarati culture, my in-law’s ancestors belong to Pratapgarh Jain family, my husband is a Jain from Bhopal, I am a Punjabi and have roots of Punjab.

Being a family of foodies, we love to explore the food from every culture. I have got a chance to learn a lot of cuisines from my and my in-law’s families.

This recipe of Guvar Muthia Nu shaak is inspired from Gujarati culture. My MIL makes it and I have modified a bit to suit everyone’s palate.

Guvar Dhokli Recipe is a cluster beans and freshly made gram flour dumplings along with spices. This makes for a great weekday dinner along with Bajra Nu Rotla or whole wheat roti.

The muthia or dhokli are freshly prepared using gram flour which adds the crunch and flavour to the gavar fali ki sabji.

It is easy to make, but prepared differently than other Indian curries.
